65,000 km service — everything I replaced

Korn S.Hilux Revo Rocco

The big one. Pulled the truck in over a long weekend and worked through the 65k checklist myself. Photos and notes for each job below — swipe through.

Day one — everything laid out before I started. Genuine Toyota filters, Mobil 1 0W-30, and a fresh set of plugs.

Old oil came out almost black at 10,000 km since the last change. The new 0W-30 went in at exactly 6.5 litres.

Timing belt at 65k — still looked okay but I never gamble on this. Water pump and tensioner replaced at the same time.

All four brake discs were past their wear line. New discs and ceramic pads front and rear — night-and-day difference on the test drive.

Flushed the transmission and topped up the diff oil. Messy job, but the gearbox shifts so much smoother now.

Done. Every receipt logged in my Thauto garage so the next owner sees exactly what was done — and when.
