65,000 km service — everything I replaced

The big one. Pulled the truck in over a long weekend and worked through the 65k checklist myself. Photos and notes for each job below — swipe through.

Day one — everything laid out before I started. Genuine Toyota filters, Mobil 1 0W-30, and a fresh set of plugs.1 / 6

Old oil came out almost black at 10,000 km since the last change. The new 0W-30 went in at exactly 6.5 litres.2 / 6

Timing belt at 65k — still looked okay but I never gamble on this. Water pump and tensioner replaced at the same time.3 / 6

All four brake discs were past their wear line. New discs and ceramic pads front and rear — night-and-day difference on the test drive.4 / 6

Flushed the transmission and topped up the diff oil. Messy job, but the gearbox shifts so much smoother now.5 / 6
